One of the primary objectives of fostering is to bring these dogs back into the fold of trusting and loving humans again. It's also important for them to be observed in a family environment to learn how well socialized they are.

Fostering gives us a chance to get to know each dog and have the best chance of finding them the right "furever"" home. Fostering is definitely a labor of love. Some dogs have been abused, neglected, chained, in their previous life. Most are or have been, pets, but are confused and frightened at the change in their circumstances.

then tries to sit on your lap, it's hard to feel sad.
