Bo (BoJo) came to TGPR after being found near a busy highway with a red gasoline can tied to his collar! He had a young pup with him and seemed to know it was his responsibility to get them both to safety. We think he is about 2-3 years old and a full Pyr. He has a blocky head and the traditional double dew claws on his back legs. We weren't sure if Bo had ever been inside a house. But at his foster's home, he walked right in and proved to be totally well-mannered. Bo is housetrained, great with other dogs, no food aggression, and loves to be brushed. He walks well on a lead and rarely pulls hard. He does have a very deep and resounding bark and "sounds off" if there is a change in his environment, such as a deer walking past. His foster says simply, "Bo is a great dog and deserves a devoted and loving family where he can spoil them and be spoiled all his life." During a recent storm, he jumped the foster's 4' wood and wire fence, and this is something they are now observing more closely. Up till that point, he'd made no attempt to leave the yard.

The poor dog, in life the firmest friend. The first to welcome, foremost to defend.
