Baby Earl is vet cleared and ready for adoption. He is still one spunky puppy. Earl was dumped in a shelter separated from his mother and litter at a young age. He has benefitted greatly being fostered in a home with a young female pyr who had her own pups within the last year. He has learned play manners and been socialized by the pyr surrogate, children and adults. He is still a very active puppy who loves to run, wrestle, play growl and chew, chew, chew on toys and bones but hasn't destroyed a thing! He is crate trained, now making it through the night in his crate. He is doing great on potty training if given frequent outdoor trips during the day. Since he expends so much energy playing Earl retreats regularly to his crate for naps. He is happy playing alone or with other dogs, walking on a leash, coming when called in the yard and learning to sit to receive treats. He would do fine in a home with other dogs that can tolerate an active pup. If he is a single dog his dog socialization should continue with play days. Earl does have calm times where he enjoys having ear scratches, belly rubs and pets. He has been successful around multiple children age 5 and under. Supervision is required with the small ones as puppy teeth and claws are sharp and he has to be reminded to chew on his toys not hands. This is going to be a big boy once he grows into his enormous feet sporting double dew claws on both back feet. His pyr mix has given him a shorter hair coat so he won’t produce the infamous fluff around the house. Earl will make a wonderful addition to his forever home.

The poor dog, in life the firmest friend. The first to welcome, foremost to defend.
